Study shows office plants enrich the workplace

A recent study by the American Psychological Association confirmed what we here at Waterford Plants based our very ethos and company vision around; published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology, the three-pronged intensive inquiry investigated large firms in both the UK and The Netherlands, comparing the use of ‘lean’ versus ‘green’ office space.

‘Lean’ referring to flexible, bare office space and ‘green’ to our passion- exquisitely decorated offices, bursting with colour and live flowers and plants. Air quality, concentration and workplace satisfaction were all measured subjectively, with productivity also being measured, objectively.

To little surprise, all three field experiments displayed enhanced outcomes when offices were enriched with plants.
